Hello!

I started quilting back in Spring 2020 and fell in love fast!

I’m inspired by modern quilters who are reviving the art for the 21st century with clean lines and bright colour pallets. I love learning about the rich history and stories behind quilting as an art form. I try and learn something new with every quilt, new colours, new techniques, new patterns.

I learned to sew when I was very young, helping my mum sew curtains and cushions. I studied Textile Design at college and then Performance and Event Design at university in Birmingham.

I picked a sewing machine back up during lockdown, when fabric shops were closed there were only small scraps and old clothes available at home, the perfect place to start a quilt! 

Now I find my fabrics and materials from local suppliers across Yorkshire. I love the waste-free, eco-friendly and thrifty nature of quilting, using every scrap of fabric to make a product that can be treasured for years to come.
