Join me for this advanced quilting session!

If you’re an experienced sewer, have tried patchwork quilting before and want to develop your skills then this is the workshop for you.

In this workshop we will make an intricate quilt design, focusing on how to sew together curved pieces. Starting with choosing fabrics, then piecing together our quilt tip, then sandwiching and binding our quilts. You will go home with a mini quilt and all the skills to keep practicing and perfecting your quilts.

In the workshop we will cover:

- Choosing fabrics and complimentary colours

- Choosing patterns and discussing traditional patterns and reference books

- Cutting fabric accurately and safely

- Piecing the quilt top using sewing machines

- Sewing curved patchwork pieces

- Quilting by machine

- Making and attaching binding

The workshop will begin at 10am, with a break for lunch and finish around 3pm

Cost £60 per person - includes all equipment and materials
